A hundred years. The tragedy which still fascinates and haunts the collective imagination has awoken from it’s cultural slumber once again with public artworks, television series and a certain reconstituted blockbuster film now with us to commemorate the centenary of this famous shipping disaster which occurred on April 15th 1912 in the arctic waters of the North Atlantic.
